The Rototom Sunsplash 2022 edition will be spectacular. Unforgettable, but we just have to wait. This year we will not be able to meet as we would have liked to.
We have worked up to the last minute for a memorable edition, but we have had to adopt this decision after meeting with the heads of the Ministry of Health and the department for Tourism of the Valencian Generalitat in an attempt to find a formula that would enable us to save this edition of the festival with all the necessary sanitary guarantees.
A Rototom Sunsplash without hugs would not be Rototom. It would lose its essence, which we want to preserve. We suspended the 2021 edition, but that did affect our determination and desire to continue.
We will return, we will continue to fight and dream, ever stronger, for another year with an even deeper desire to live “our dream”. This of course means that  we need, now more than ever before, to continue to count on your valuable support to overcome every obstacle along the way.
Having bought your tickets and keeping them for 2021 has already been a great gesture of your confidence in us. Transforming it now into a direct pass to Rototom Sunsplash 2022 would help us to continue building your reggae festival.
We know, however, that the situation is complicated for everyone and that keeping the your ticket may not be possible for some of you. People who have already purchased their ticket for this edition will receive an e-mail with details about the next steps and will have a period of two weeks to decide whether to request a refund "or give us your confidence for one more year and keep the ticket for the summer of 2022 ”. In addition, all the information on the procedures will be available from tomorrow, Friday June 4, at www.rototom.com.
We promise you a 27th edition that will be more exciting than ever and we will come through on our side of the deal: from August 16 to 22, 2022 in Benicàssim.
