CANCELLED: Reggae Lake Festival Amsterdam 2021 ADD

08/21 - 08/22 2021

  • CANCELLED: Reggae Lake Festival Amsterdam 2021

MESSAGE FROM THE PROMOTER:

REGGAE LAKE MOVED TO 2022
GREETINGS REGGAE LOVERS,
Reggae Lake will not take place this year either. Unfortunately, we have to deliver this sad message after a long period of waiting, and much deliberation. There are too many uncertainties, and the day is getting shorter and shorter to build a high-quality and irie Reggae Lake from the ground.
Despite the fact that more and more freedoms are coming into view, there is still no definitive answer as to whether and under what conditions large festivals can take place. Rescheduling to later in the year is unfortunately not an option for us. And we cannot speculate on future government action.
Another important obstacle is that due to the cancellation of most reggae festivals in Europe, foreign artists will not tour, and there are many uncertainties about the permission and visas of foreign artists to travel to the Benelux.
Our hopes were long pinned on the guarantee fund that could give us some security to commit suppliers, employees and artists and work on the 2021 edition. However, the guarantee fund is still incomplete and the further development of the fund is taking far too long.
With pain in our hearts we move Reggae Lake to 2022. All tickets remain valid for next year. If you want your money back, that is also possible. Later this month, all ticket buyers will receive an email with more information.
The good news is that Sean Paul has already promised to be back next year. We are still in talks with the other artists. We are also already working on new names that we will announce in the coming months. Keep an eye on our website.
Reggae Lake Festival returns on August 20 & 21, 2022!
one love,
Reggae Lake
