The Brooklyn Music Festival isn't your run-of-the mill Dancehall stage show; it’s a taste of the Caribbean with a carnival-styled outdoor family fun day featuring various musical talents and finger licking cuisines. This is about celebrating the music and culture of the Caribbean for Caribbean-Americans now residing in the USA. It's has Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, Ska, and Rocksteady--it even features Caribbean-influenced Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul music. It is about the impact that Caribbean music has had on American culture.
