MOBO Awards 2021 Nomination for Lila Iké, Spice, Shenseea, Sean Paul, Popcaan & Skillibeng

The MOBO Awards 2021 nominations are in. For the first time in the history of the Reggae category, three female artists are nominated and a possible win for Lila Iké, Shenseea or Spice would be the first time ever for a woman to win the MOBO Award in the "Best Reggae Act" category! They compete against Sean Paul, Popcaan and Skillibeng. The UK’s biggest celebration of Black music and culture will take place on December 5 at the CBS Arena in Coventry.

Shenseea is nominated for the first time, while Lila Iké was already on the list last year. Skillibeng's nomination is a first as well, but he got a second one this year in the "Best International Act" category.

Last year's winner was Buju Banton, while Koffee, Lila Iké, Protoje and Popcaan were nominated.

See below the nominations for BEST REGGAE ACT and BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT. Public voting for 9 of the 18 categories (including Best International Act) has started now @ MOBO.com

The winner in the Reggae category will be determined by a MOBO Awards specialist committee!
