Rastaveli MC ADD
Rastaveli MC, real name Artem, is a Russian Reggae artist from Russia's little town called Penza. He has his original style of a fine fusion of Reggae, Hip Hop, and relaxing mystical sound. Rastafari is his spirit! Everything he creates is made with soul and love for people!
He started writing reggae & hip-hop lyrics music back in 2009, the first recordings were made in a small studio located in the mountains of Cyprus. Rastaveli MC's music is usually performed in English, interspersed with Patois and Russian. Rastaveli MC officially announced himself in 2016, his first official release appeared on the Reggaeville channel as the premiere of his official video Ganja, which laid the foundation of Rastaveli's musical path.
Rastaveli is a member of the Russian Hip-Hop group Sensi Sheeba created by his brother Vlad in 2014.
In 2018, his first official album Journey was nominated for the title of "Best Reggae Album" in Russia by Daily Vibes, the country's largest reggae resource. On June 27th 2019, the new album Duality was released, which Artem livicated to his brother Vlad and hi brother's wife, Valeria (ex. Sensi Sheeba), who both died in a car accident at the end of 2018. At the end of 2019, the album Duality won the "Best Russian Release of the Year" nomination according to the Daily Vibes.
In early 2020, the lyric LP Memories was released, performed mostly in Russian, the album was also dedicated to loved ones. In October of the same year, the single Kingdom Of Jah was released, timed to coincide with the new album Vibe Therapy, which hit the Top 100 on Beatport. The main event of that year is the release of the album Vibe Therapy, which appeared online on November 11, 2020.
In January 2021, the album Vibe Therapy was officially recognized as the "Best Reggae Album 2020 in Russia", according to the main reggae sources of the country, Daily Vibes and Reggaemedia: "Interesting and relevant topics that the artist covers in his work will be close and understandable to absolutely everyone. Rastaveli music is a honor on to Jah and the light in the darkness! The victory of Good over Evil!"
