One Love Cali Reggae Fest 2019 - Lineup Announcement

One Love Cali Reggae Fest announced the full lineup for the 2019 edition, taking place at the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach, CA February 8, 9 and 10. In its fourth year, One Love has emerged as the top Reggae Festival in Southern California with stacked lineups year after year. 2019 is no exception including Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome, Stick Figure, Morgan HeritageCommon Kings, J Boog, The Green, Collie Buddz and 45 other artists spread over 3 days and 2 stages.

Below the headliners are very important artists including Nattali RizeIya Terra and The Delerians but one unique highlight this year is the Hawaii contingent with a spectacular collection of these Island artists: The Green, Fiji, Anuhea, Sammy J, Hirie (although now residing in Cali) and Landon McNamara.

, a 20 year old musician / Ford model / pro big wave surfer, released his debut album A Dollar Short and a Minute Late back in December 2016 to high acclaim, reaching #1 on iTunes and #5 on the Billboard Reggae Charts. Landon writes all of his own music but is usually chasing 50 feet waves so he rarely tours making this a special festival appearance. Another group not to be missed is Tribal Seeds who is back at full throttle with Gonzo back in the rhythm now after his stroke and rehabilitation. Tribal is better than ever lately with new members Louie Castro and Jamey Zeb Dekofsky added over the last few years. Looking forward to hearing some tracks off their new upcoming album but hoping Castro busts out his Secol and Cool track.

Buy your tickets to the afterparties early as these are very small affairs in a low ceiling ballroom on the Queen Mary. In previous years these have always stood out for me as artists typically welcome their artist friends onstage for impromptu jamming. Last year Fortunate Youth basically had a private party onstage with many of their Cali musician friends while the intimate after party crowd watched in amazement. This year the afterparties will be hosted by Don Carlos on Friday night, Collie Buddz on Saturday and Fiji on Sunday. Tickets go on sale November 17, 2018 @
