Patrice & Friends - Rocksteady Christmas 2025 ADD

An evening that boasts a star studded line up but more than anything will it be my honor to share the stage with legends from my favorite rocksteady recordings. Robbie Lyn on Keys, the great Clive Hunt, Dwight Pinkney and the legendary Lloyd Parks will form the band. This is the real thing - without them, Reggae music wouldn’t be what it is today, and I’m eternally happy and humbled that they’re making their way from sunny Jamaica especially for this. 

Interpreting Christmas Classics in a Rocksteady way feels somehow natural and although seemingly being an odd match it works beautifully. At a time when family is family, and we come together in our inner circle it will be my pleasure to curate this evening and play music for you. The Rocksteady era lasted roughly 18 months starting in summer 1966. Yet it would enter history books as the island’s most influential period and give rise to Reggae’s greatest stars.
