RIP Uziah 'Sticky' Thompson - August 25th 2014

Percussionist Uziah 'Sticky' Thompson died on Monday, August 25th, in Miami, Florida. According to the Jamaica Observer he died from a heart attack.


He played percussions on countless songs and albums by Peter Tosh, Culture, Burning Spear, Bunny Wailer... just to name a few. He was also the official percussionist of Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers.
