Umberto Echo aka Philipp Winter is a Gold awarded Record Producer, Sound Engineer and Dub Activist. He has released 11 albums on Enja Records, Echo Beach and Oneness Records under his name and contributed to over 350 albums, engineering, mixing and/or producing in a wide range of genres since he started his studio career in 1999.

His credits include Quadro Nuevo, Jazzrausch Bigband, Dub Inc., Jamaram, Sara Lugo, Silvan Strauss and Jojo Mayer and remixes for artists such as Abdullah Ibrahim, Seeed feat. Ceelo Green, Gentleman, Steel Pulse feat. Damian Marley and Sly & Robbie. Umberto also mixed over 2000 live concerts since 1996 and is a live recording expert.
