02/10/2026 by Press Release
Protoje — one of the most vital voices in global reggae today — has officially announced the release of his seventh full length album, The Art of Acceptance, arriving April 17, 2026 via In.Digg.Nation Collective / Ineffable Records. Alongside the release date, Protoje has revealed the album’s striking cover art, full track listing, and an expansive international tour in support of the project.
The Art of Acceptance follows Protoje’s Grammy-nominated Third Time’s The Charm (2022) and continues his legacy of music rooted in consciousness, cultural truth, and spiritual grounding. The album is produced by longtime collaborator Winta James and features a predominantly Jamaican cast of collaborators, underscoring Protoje’s commitment to preserving and advancing the sound and spirit of Jamaica on a global stage.
Features include Jamaica's own Shenseea, Masicka, Jesse Royal, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Stephen Marley as well as U.S. Virgin Islands' Pressure Busspipe — a powerful convergence of voices that reflects both generational legacy and modern innovation.

Leading up to the announcement, Protoje rolled out three singles from the album including At We Feet feat. Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, BIG 45 andFeel It. The singles set the tone for an album that is expansive yet deeply personal — rooted in tradition while pushing forward sonically.

Protoje describes the album as both a spiritual reckoning and a creative rebirth: “The Art of Acceptance’ isn’t just about peace — it’s about the raw, sometimes painful work of facing yourself fully, embracing the parts you might want to hide, and then radiating from that wholeness. I’ve worked on this album for the last three years with great focus alongside Winta James, our first full project together since A Matter of Time (2022). The sounds came out beyond our expectations — a proper mixture of innovation and homage to our roots. Every feature on this album is a dream collaboration, and having them all come together feels like divine timing.”
Winta James adds: “Protoje and I first worked together over ten years ago, and this record perfectly illustrates his evolution. It’s an amalgamation of the sounds that inspired us over the years — from updated acoustic traditional reggae to the digital reggae revolution of the late ’80s and early ’90s, with a sprinkling of hip-hop-inspired grooves.”
In support of the album, Protoje will embark on The Art of Acceptance Tour, spanning Jamaica, Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America. He will get started ahead of the album release with his own curated 2-day Lost In Time Festival in Kingston, Jamaica. The tour includes major festival appearances such as New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Austin Reggae Festival, and Reggae Rise Up, alongside headline club and theater dates.
