Roger Mitchell, known professionally as MitchDiSinga, is a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter, and recording artist based in Kingston, Jamaica. Citing a diverse collection of vocal influences including Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, and Babyface. Following the lead of such trailblazers, the talented MitchDiSinga brings all of these influences to his style and music today.
Ever since he burst on the scene as a fresh-faced teenager, as a member of the Jamaican boy band ARP (Always Ready to Perform). They really created a wave musically, with their cover song “Lion Sleeps”. Since then, he hasn’t looked back.
Due to MitchDiSinga’s songwriting ability for writing potent songs on a wide array of topics, he has garnered praise from international recording artists including Buju Banton and Pharrell “Happy” Williams with whom he co-wrote “Cherry Pie”. His writing and unique vocal abilities allowed him to collaborate with world-renowned production duo Sly and Robbie (producing hit single “Want No More”), and also reggae music heavyweight producers Don Corleone (producing hit single “Give Me A Call”), Donovan Germaine, and Lloyd “John John” James for whom he has recorded a slew of hit singles.
MitchDiSinga is currently co-writing projects with Buju Banton, working on new music for Raw Vue Music and also putting the finishing touches on his latest album to be released.
His latest upcoming single “Hoisted’” (Produced by Raw Vue Music), with musical support from an a list of musicians led by Kirk “Kirkledove” Bennett and mixed by Grammy award winner Delroy “Phatta” Pottinger, is due out on November 25th, 2022 on all digital platforms followed by the music video. The second act of his career is shaping up to be nothing short of iconic!
