The video will have its world premiere at Reggaeville on August 21st at 6pm CET.
For over two decades, Dezarie has been a fiercely revered voice in the global reggae diaspora — a messenger of truth, equal rights & justice, Dezarie is a lyrical prophet whose voice has pierced through generations. Now, with this highly anticipated visual release, fans are invited deeper into her universe — where visuals meet vibration, and storytelling transcends the screen.
The video accompanies the soul-stirring track Hold On off of her latest album Guardian, produced by Kardell “Mr. Pr3z” President — a divine invocation layered with heavy roots basslines, fiery chants of righteousness, and the unmistakable voice of Dezarie, both commanding and tender. Directed by Yochanan Al-Khemetic, the video was shot entirely on location in Eugene (Oregon), highlighting the beauty of of the Pacific Northwest, creating a perfect backdrop for Dezarie to deliver an elemental pulse that is interwoven throughout her music.
