Black Pearl - Sister Of Bob Marley & Bunny Wailer Releases First Single From Her Debut Album

It’s been 63 years in the making and decades since the tragic loss of the great Bob Marley and fellow architect of reggae music, Bunny Wailer, but the wait has been worth it: Bob and Bunny’s sister Pearl Livingston has dropped her first single and the official music video launches worldwide on July 16.

Your Richness is Life (Produced by Greg Quail / Fifty Fifty Records) is an introspective story of being the little sister of Robert Nesta Marley. Pearl Livingston is the second child of Bob Marley's mother, Cedella. Pearl's father is Thaddeus Livingston, who is also the father of Bunny Wailer. Her brothers’ profound influence on her and all of humanity has defined much of Pearl’s life and with such immaculate reggae royalty flowing through her veins, it was only a matter of time before Pearl committed to record her own lyrics and melodies.

And what a collection of songs Pearl has amassed as the universe awaited.

Choosing the artiste moniker Black Pearl, Ms Livingston has recorded eight originals and a cover from each of her brothers’ voluminous catalogues to deliver an important reckoning worthy of any and all reggae collections.
