Angelica Mava

Angelica Mava (born March 3, 1999) is one of Europe’s most promising voices in reggae music. Raised near the ocean in the tranquil countryside north of Stockholm, Sweden, she has built a name for herself through her deep connection to the roots of reggae.

Her love for the genre began early, inspired by artists like The Congos, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Tanya Stephens, Morgan Heritage and many more. It was Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock that first ignited her passion and set her on the path to becoming an artist.

Angelica has performed on key reggae stages in her home country, like Uppsala Reggae Festival, and in 2023 she opened for Kabaka Pyramid during two stops of his European tour. Her musical journey has brought her to Jamaica multiple times, where she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Stephen Marley and music producer Caspa, known for his work with Lila Iké. Back home, she founded Stockholm Reggae Nights, a club dedicated to sound system culture and roots reggae. In 2025 she's doing her first European tour, performing in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Slovakia and Portugal.

September 27, 2024, marked a major milestone with the release of her international debut album, MAVA - a project that reflects both her personal growth and her global vision as a reggae artist.

In addition to her stage presence, Angelica has gained significant traction online. Her soulful covers and original songs have gone viral on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where her heartfelt interpretations of reggae classics and fresh productions have earned her a growing international following.
