Distant Relatives Tour in Frauenfeld, Switzerland @ Frauenfeld Open Air 7/9/2010
For the most part Europe has been great, it's always tough to tour Europe still, due to the long bus rides. And our tour bus makes it no easier, no TV and no Internet ..and get this, we got a bus driver who is a rugby fan, he doesn't give a rats ass bout no world cup, lol, straight hating on football.
It took us like a whole day to drive into switzerland, we never get that bored on the bus though, all the smoke , guiness, reasoning and riddim building gets us by jus fine. Also we have to take these stops so the drivers can sleep. Man I tell yu, the drivers here a sissys! Dem need fi stop and nap and it's 2 of them! Lmao! And watch dis now, the bus has some kind of timer on it so any time they drive it logs into the computer, this way the bus company can track how long the bus is on the road and so forth. If the drivers over drive and run over certain amount of hours the bus will just shut down and we gotta call the company. We give thanks it Neva come to dat yet, haha.
We got into Frauenfeld about 6pm and we met with some farmers to see the wonderful fruit they been growing. I fell right asleep in that hotel before the show, it seems no matter how long I sleep on the bus, it's not much of a restfull sleep, it's a fake sleep, yu zeet. So passing out in the hotel after a long bus ride is pretty normal. We had a late show too, about 12:30 pm. They put us after Eminem. tough slot !! mek mi jus tell yu. We where listening to Eminem on stage do him ting, maaaad! Still, mi nah lie , him band sound tight and him have these random explosions weh sound like a straight desert eagle straight outta yard, lol. While he was perfoming some of his D12 members came into our dressing room to hail up. Bizarre and Royce da 59 came in and hailed up, and soon after Reakwon from Wu Tang Clan came in and hailed up also. Good people good vibes, positive energy.
By the time we hit the stage we where met by a some what tired audience, they were a tough set, but we would end up winning them over with vibes. After the show I was reasoning with some of the patrons and they said they had been out there from pretty early so I figured they was tired and a bit burnt out, the show still came off nice, we perfomed to a huge crowd still, at least 50,000.
