Greetings Brother and Sisters Peanut here once again.

Well The Christopher Puma & Stable Roots tour touched down in Fairmont W, VA [7/24/2010] at The Johnny Johnson Blues Festival.

I got in around 4am from Durham, NC after doing a private wedding with Antero Reggae band from Richmond the night before..That was an Irie gig and always love seeing and playing with those guys.We had alot of fun playing the wedding. Big Up Wylie,Sam,Mike,Jake,Joshua,Gordon and Tim.

Got up around 9am after a few hours of  sleep.Took a shower and got myself ready. The guys are meeting me at my house. They reached around 11:30AM. We packed up and headed down to Winchester to meet the bass player Jason.

Reached Jason after a hour of driving and Gordon Saxman Jones got in with him and rode with him.

Fairmont was a 3 hour drive so we left pretty quickly to get up there and get some rest before we played.

When we got to Fairmont we went to the Hotel ( Holiday Inn ) and checked in and then we went to the festival to check out what was going on.

Got to see talk with the promoter about a few things and also check out the backline equipment.Everything looked good.

So we went back to the hotel to rest until 8pm.Thats when dinner was served for us..

Man time flew cause before i knew it.Time to go Ha Ha. Called everyone and we packed up and headed back over to the festival.Man was it hot and humid.

They had steamed vegetables, salad, pasta and fish for us. We all ate and chilled and watched the other acts till it was time for us.

Soon they where ready for us and we sat up pretty quick and did no sound check just started playing. The crowd at first was not expecting what they heard. All day they was wondering what we was going to play. You could just sense the curiosity in the air.

Christopher Puma is such a great front man. He made the vibes real easy for the crowd to want to dance and be part of the vibes. The way he reasoned with them delivered the songs was great.

Let's see we did Redemption Song into Humble Myself (original). Next was Much More (original), Stir It Up, Friends (Original), Tempted To Touch, There Gonna Talk to name a few.

Crowd was dancing and having a good time. The music won them over. Even at a Blues Festival where they wasn't expecting what they heard.

The power of Psalms and Praise is a Powerful weapon and should really be Appreciated and Blessed to be part of.

Like  Bob Marley said," One Thing About Music, When It Hits You Feel No Pain".

We ended the night with One Love and the crowd sang along with Puma. The whole night was fun as well watching the band have fun on stage. Always a blessing having the Elder Ras Mel on stage with us.

Blessings Until next time. Peanut
