Greetings Brothers ans Sisters. Peanut here once again.

I know its been a few days been busy rehearsing and getting my self ready for the Corey Harris shows in Portugal.

We left on wed. night January 27th and reached on thursday morning. We had to stay in the Immigration line for almost 2 hours when we reached. That was no fun. Then had to drive 2 hours to the first place in Torres Novas Portugal. When we reached everyone went to sleep till band rehearsal that night at the Virginia Theater , the place the show is to take place.

After rehearsal we hung out for awhile at the hotel and went to sleep. The next morning, friday january, 29th , got up worked out and hit the shower. Went down to lunch and met the guys.

The food at the hotel which is The Hotel Torres Novas is great. They have this dish called Megash that is awesome. Corey and the rest of the guys love it. It's black eye peas,cornbread ,spinach mixed together. We also ate alot of cod fish and salad.

Anyway 2:30 was sound check time so we headed down to take care of that and work out some kinks in some of the songs.

Got back to the hotel and chilled till it was time for the show. The hotel was close to the venue so we just walked down to it, when it was time to leave. Got there and we headed to the backstage area and waited till they called us for the show.

We took the stage as i glanced into the crowd they seemed like they was ready for us.

The first song was a Jazz Version of Redemption Song Featuring Gordan Saxman Jones. First song was Santoro. Crowd responded well and it seemed like it was going to be great night.

Backlash ,Look At You and Find away came next in a medley of the new album blu black. Vibes was good in the theater.

Then we went into a segment of the show where we took the audience on a musical journey thru soul,jazz, worldbeat and blues songs. They loved it.

Corey then did some solo blues songs which mesmerized the crowd and they just cheered in appreciation.

Corey called back the band and we did Sweatshop, Black and So Good To Me . The crowd was musically satisfied as we left the stage.

It was great show. The next show is Tomorrow in Lisbon at Cultregist.
