Grammy Nominees 2010 for Best Reggae Album

12/03/2009

Nominees for the 52nd Grammy Awards, which will be held on January, 31st 2010 in Los Angeles

Best Reggae Album

Buju Banton - Rasta Got Soul

Gregory Isaacs - Brand New Me

Julian Marley - Awake

Stephen Marley - Mind Control Acoustic

Sean Paul - Imperial Blaze

plus a third Marley nomination in the category Best Musical Album For Children for Ziggy Marley's Family Time album!

Sadly missing on the final list are very strong albums like Tarrus Riley's Contagious or Sizzla's Ghetto Youth-Ology.

Stephen Marley's acoustic version of his Grammy winning solo debut Mind Control [2007] is a killer fe sure, but does it really makes sense to be included on the Grammy list again?

The complete list of all albums, which have been submitted for the Grammys is available in this article!

I hope Buju wins. Especially after he was set up in the drug thin.
