Additional to his press release in early october [read it here], Bunny Wailer wrote a song about the most recent copyright case between UniversalMusic Group and the Marley Family. The song is called Stolen Property. Listen to the song and read Bunny Wailer's words below:

Rastafari's blessing be yours and the family's to inherit along with good and strong health, strength, will and inspiration, the ingredients thereof. The rights of our family are presently being judicially threatened in the judgment drawn aiming to transfer the family's musical legacy and rights to UMG. This would be a denial to our dynasty that would hinder the destiny of both ours as also the human family whom our family represents.
This is the ultimate challenge that will require the unbreakable bond of unity of the family, The Wailers and Tuff Gong, in order to overcome this unjust intention designed by THE INTRUDER that have invented this virus in suggesting that The Wailers historical involvement, hard work and relentless development in the global establishment of their incomparable authorship and artistry were in reality working for hire.In the previous attempt to rid our family of THE INTRUDER in the protection of the families’ legacy, rights and interests I have been falsely accused as THE OUTSIDER which was overcome by the love, raspect and admiration exhibited in the code of brotherhood between myself and the father figures of the Marleys' and of the McIntoshs' which is unconquerable.
This Work For Hire move is an attempt by THE INTRUDER to deliberately conceal The Wailers musical legacy, while our family and UMG battle for what would be left as a shell, with THE INTRUDER on the other hand illegally acquiring ownership to the rights to The Wailers properties. This plot and plan by THE INTRUDER cannot and will not be tolerated, but will be challenged by I as the responsible father figure of the family, on behalf and in the best interest of the family, putting a total end to THE INTRUDER and his racketeering practice of enslaving our family.With music being the symbol and instrument for The Wailers existence, I therefore shall be engaged in applying the Sword and Shield of The Wailers in the destruction and elimination of THE INTRUDER now and for all times.
I will therefore be relying on the family's love, trust, support and prayer to Rastafari in the fulfillment of conquering THE INTRUDER in this final and ultimate battle to restore The Wailers' musical legacy being reclaimed as STOLEN PROPERTY reverted to the family for posterity.I and I should therefore be alert, defensive, determined and vigilant against any kind or sort of infiltration or influential distraction as we focus and aim for our objective in the effort to fulfill our families’ destiny.One Love, One Heart, Lets Stay Together To Make It Right.
